Nursery Råhøj

Nursery Raahöj is located near Aarhus, and have existed since 1992.

We produce finished plants of Trifolium and Sedum, and we produce cuttings and young plants of Symphyotrichum (Asters) and Trifolium.

Mystery Lady® Asters

We initiated our Asters breeding in 2004 and are the owner of the Symphyotrichum (Asters) series Mystery Lady®. We have ever since aimed at producing a series of Symphyotrichum (Asters) of high quality which will ensure, the consumers are having a good experience and at the same time the series of Symphyotrichum (Asters) from the growers’ point of view are preferably easier to handle during production. That’s one of the reasons why our varieties are produced by skilled growers all over the world.

The Mystery Lady® Symphyotrichum (Asters) is born to be a star. This new Symphyotrichum (Asters) line features premium quality Symphyotrichum. We regard a good experience and high quality as two sides of the same coin. Modern consumers are well informed and place demands towards both appearance and durability, which we have given a high priority in our breeding. With Mystery Lady® we want to bring quality. Because ultimately, quality pays off and ensures the consumers a great experience.

We have produced cuttings of Symphyotrichum (Asters) since 1996, and have therefor an extensive knowledge of Aster novi-belgii. Our cuttings are produced in Vietnam, were the sun and the heat makes a very good quality cutting.

Trifolium

Since 2009 we have also been breeding on Trifolium and now we have 7 varieties that is our own, and has become very popular. In our Trifolium breeding our focus is on the color of the leaves and the drawings in the leaves. But we also try very hard to find varieties that are resistant against the Trifolium fungus, which from the growers’ point of view are preferably easier to handle during production and will keep the use of chemicals down. So fare 4 out of our 5 varieties are resistant.
